The Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) and Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) do not sell or share any information about anyone in our databases with any third parties, whatsoever, nor do we envision doing so in the future.
Email addresses: Our newsletter subscribers' email addresses are stored in this Website's secure database. We use these addresses to send newsletters which subscribers control by choosing topics and frequency. We also reserve the right to use these addresses to contact our subscribers at other times.
Financial transactions: The DLC and PPI accept financial support online. Those transactions are processed by GetActive.com, which safeguards our supporters' personal and financial information according to strict standards of security and confidentiality.
Other information: The DLC and PPI maintain an offline database of members, supporters, media, subscribers to printed products and publications, and others. Examples of information recorded in the database include names, telephone numbers, postal addresses, and email addresses. That information is gathered through personal relationships, forms on this Website, and order forms in our printed publications. From time to time, we notify people in the DLC/PPI database if we think they may be interested in new products or publications. On occasion, we also ask people if they would like to become a member of the DLC or support either the DLC or PPI.
